Support Your Favorite Rescue

We buy hay rounds for the cow pen and the horse pen.  It offers them forage 24/7 even during the months when they can't graze due to dry or non-existent pastures.  Depending on the time of year, we buy every 1-2 weeks for each paddock.

We use the hay bales for the slow feeders in the donkey pen and in Josey and Serenity's pen.  It helps the donkeys slow down when they eat to help their digestion.  Josey and Serenity currently have a pasture.  A round bale would go bad before they could eat it all, so we use slow feeders throughout their paddock.

The horses get a scoop of senior feed every morning and every night.  The donkeys get a scoop of maintenance feed every morning and every night.  The cows get cattle feed and block every morning and every night.  They get six scoops per feeding!  A scoop would not be enough ;)

And of course, we cannot forget the ducks and roosters!  They get their scratch mixed with mealworms twice per day.

We get the feed pallets delivered every other week from Tractor Supply.

ALL the animals enjoy treats!  We frequent the grocery store multiple times per week for fresh produce. The animals appreciate the treats and we love to see them enjoying them.
